Robbie Rudolph will be visiting schools to launch the Four Rivers Scholarship program on Wednesday. The schedule follows:
8:30-9:30 Carlisle Co.
9:45-10:45 Hickman Co.
11:30-12:30 Fulton Co.
1:00-2:00 Fulton City
The 8th graders will be the first group to be visited by Mr. Rudolph followed by the selected seniors.
A Power Point is attached that outlines the goals, objectives, and strategies of the program. The program includes: Rudolph Readers for grades K-4; Choose a Career Day for grades 5-6; career and ATC exploration for grades 7-8; on-site visits to partner colleges and college advisor visits to districts for grades 9-10; and entrance into the program with specific classes, dual credit courses, advisement, and funding assistance for grades 11-12.
The program will launch on February 17, 2010 with visits to each district and brochures about the program passed out to all 8th graders. Details of the launch will be worked out by representatives from the four districts, foundation members, and the program director at a joint meeting.
