Census Poster Contest

The Kentucky Partnership Team is working hard to educate the public about the importance of the 2010 Census. With that mission in mind, we have many outreach activities that will take place between now and Census Day.
One of those activities is a STUDENT POSTER CONTEST. It will give students an opportunity to learn about the importance of the Census. But, for this contest to be a success, we need YOUR HELP.
The Kentucky Partnership Team already has a commitment in hand for the three winning posters from every county to be displayed in the Capitol Annex Tunnel in Frankfort from March 29-April 9, 2010.
We're hoping school systems in every county in Kentucky will agree to sponsor, host or coordinate a poster contest--perhaps with help from their Complete Count Committees or the business community. The goal is to select three winning posters that best capture the Census message (K-5, Middle School, and High School).
Attached to this e-mail is a prototype flyer that can be customized and used to promote your county contest. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
