I wanted to reach out and provide a few updates and just say hello to everyone! I hope you are finding time to make memories with family despite our unfortunate circumstances. A few things I needed to remind/or provide information about.
We had a amazing response on getting packets in the hands of our students yesterday and that made things so much easier this morning. Thanks to those that came out here to get them and those that stood by doors and windows waiting for us to come by your homes. It was great to see everyone!
Moving forward, we plan to distribute the next round of packets next Monday. This round of packets will contain 10 days worth of work. I think we can all see that this is going to extend for that long. We will also be collecting the packets from this week at that same time. As you complete the work for this week, please place it back in the packet you received on Tuesday to make the return process easier. You will once again have the option to wait for the bus on Monday or you can come to the school to drop off/pick up work.
We have had great participation this week and I hope it continues or even grows. We will continue the same process. If you do not ride the bus and want a lunch please call the board office at 270-628-3800 and we will see that we get your address down so that you can get a lunch delivered. If you live on a bus route we will bring it by bus, if not we may send someone to your home in a car with your lunch. Make sure you give us the address and the number of lunches that will be needed at that address. You may continue to pick lunch up at the cafeteria as well.
If you have any needs that we can assist you with please contact the STARS Center and we will do all we can to assist. 270-628-3800 ext 6031 or 6030
Stay safe and follow the CDC's recommended guidelines so that we can all do our part to remain well. I look forward to seeing you all!
